If you are going to run a Internet Business, you need to ensure that your computer is ready to use when you need it.

These tips will ensure that your computer is kept in optimal shape.

1. Install Anti-Virus software and make sure it is up to date!
2. Install and update your Firewall.
3. Check for any available windows updates
4. Install an Anti-Spyware program and run regular scans.
5. Be Careful with email attachments – even attachments from people you know are not always safe!
6. Backup your files as often as possible.
7. Clean up all your temporary files.
8. Defragment your hard disk drive.
9. Maintain at least 10% free space on your hard drive.
